what is it about black & white photographs that makes them so innately elegant, sensual, provocative? there’s an ocean of subtext in a B&W snapshot, so much depth + mystery. i just can’t get enough these days. you can’t tell any lies with a black & white photograph. secrets maybe, but not lies. they’re too…real.

since i took these photographs, all the snow has melted. i’m officially on spring break and have officially given into the cold i’ve been fighting off for weeks. i’m okay with being sick, though, because this morning the sun is out, sid skated for the first time in forever, and i’ve got cinnamon tea + netflix to keep me company while i’m on the mend.
